The DSC measures difference in Heat Flow Rate between the sample and inert reference (function of time and temperature).


Temperature range starts from -90 to 550°C.


Applications include:

  • melting/crystallization studies
  • glass transition analysis
  • measurement of Thermoset Cure and Kinetics
  • Oxidative Induction Time/Oxidation Onset Temperature

Modulated DSC® (MDSC®) analysis provides for separation of overlapping events and better sensitivity for weaker transitions.
